Can't Install or Update Quick Sale

Originally we had two paid versions of Quick Sale available on the App Store:

 

Quick Sale: Basic, upgradable to Pro with an in-app purchase

Quick Sale Pro: Stand-alone version, replaced by the new subscription version

 

The upgradable version was discontinued some time ago and it in no longer available on the App Store, but you can still download and update this version by following these steps:

 

  1. Open the App Store app on your iPad, then tap Today at the bottom of the screen.

  2. Tap the person icon or your photo in the upper-right hand corner, then tap Purchased

  3. Search for "Quick Sale"

  4. If Quick Sale appears in the results list, tap the download button

To restore the Pro upgrade (in-app purchase) please follow these steps:

 

  1. Open Quick Sale (not the subscription version, both apps have the same icon)

  2. Go to Settings

  3. Tap Upgrade > Restore Previous Purchases

 

If you would like to move to the new subscription version, you can use the backup/restore feature to transfer your data.

In the meantime, you can import the file from the Dropbox app or any other sharing app (OneDrive, Google Drive, etc.) For example, to import from the Dropbox app please follow these steps: Open the Dropbox app Locate and select the CSV or QuickSaleInventory file Tap the icon with three dots (•••) located at the right side of the filename or at the top right-hand corner of the screen. A menu should appear. Tap Export and then choose " Copy to Quick Sale " Quick Sale should open automatically and show you the import preview screen. Tap Import to import the file.
  • The new subscription-based version of Quick Sale allows previous users of Quick Sale Pro to continue using the new version without a subscription. To do this, just tap the ' Restore Previous Purchase ' option when the Subscribe page appears. If this is not working for you, it could be one of the following two cases: The Apple ID configured on your device is not the same that you used to make the original purchase of Quick Sale. You have the original version of Quick Sale upgradable to Pro with in-app purchases (discontinued) If you have the original version of Quick Sale upgradable to Pro with in-app purchases, you may need to download a different app from the App Store. Please see the help page titled ' Can't Install or Update Quick Sale '. To check or change the Apple ID configured on your iPad open the Settings app and tap iTunes & App Store .
  • The fix for this issue is included in the latest version of Quick Sale (v2.7.25 or newer) For older versions: The best solution for this issue is to add a PayPal  Pay Now  button to the email text body, or if you are a subscriber, switch to one of the new invoice designs available with a subscription. To add a "Pay Now" button to the emails: Go to  Settings > Customize Email  Add the following line to the email body: Pay with PayPal (or something similar)  %PayPalLink% When your clients open the email, the %PayPalLink% will appear as a clickable button, for example: This will allow your clients to make a payment without the need to open the PDF invoice and it should work on all phones, tablets and computers.
